The neoclassical residence resting within 35000m2 of meticulously designed Mediterranean gardens was initially built in 1893. Declared a cultural monument by the Greek Ministry, it has been fully renovated to serve the highest of nowadays standards while at the same time preserving the essence of another era.
The same nostalgic theme permeates the interior which consists of a study, two bedrooms, one bathroom and a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom on the first floor, as well as two additional bedrooms and two bathrooms on the ground floor. This serene painting also includes a small chapel dedicated to St. Fanourios, surrounded by century old olive trees, willow trees and blooming roses. In fact there are several sitting spots around the house fully equipped with outdoor furniture, including a gazebo where one can let go of worries and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.
While exploring the gardens, populated by indigenous plants and flowers setting up a colourful pallet, guests are also welcome to taste over twenty different fruits and vegetables such as strawberries, peaches and apricots depending on the season, all produced within the estate.
The land has its own production of reasonable quantities and excelent quality, biological agricultural products such as :
- edible olives (tasty - big size, Kalamata's type)
- olive oil (extra virgin)
- grapes (in season)
- wine (red wine, Saint George taste)
- fruits (in season)
The products are properly cultivated and collected by the couple living in the plot, according to the instruction of the owners.
Close to the house, mostly masked from common sight by jasmine and wisteria bushes, is the basketball/tennis court, in case someone prefers to mix relaxation with some sports activity. For those who love playing golf, the land can be also used as a golf course, by making the necessary changes (holes, etc), so that family and friends can train and have fun.
Finaly 2 parking spots are available in the underground garage. More cars can be accomodated in several places within the estate.
This 35.000 sq.m plot is close to a sandy beach (100m. walking distance), close to a local fishrestaurant, close (15km distance) to the big city of Pyrgos (Western Peloponese) and close to the airport of ANDRAVIDA.
Few kilometeres away is located OLYMPIA, the place where OLYMPIC GAMES began in 776 b.C
